The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families supports distressed children and their families through innovative therapeutic practice and research, training and promoting awareness of mental health issues.
The Grants and Bids Officer will be primarily responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to statutory bodies (Department of Health, Department for Education, Local authorities etc.), Trusts and Foundations, and will persuasively communicate the Centre’s mission and projects to potential funders. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, the Grants and Bids Officer will assemble and submit grant requests, establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with statutory and foundation contacts, conduct prospect research and maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines.
The post-holder will be based at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, 12 Maresfield Gardens, London NW3 5SU and 4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH.
