Chief Executive, c£70,000 depending on experience
Location: Flexible

The Design and Technology Association is the UK’s only professional association for all those involved in design and technology education. With over 10,000 members, the organisation provides teaching resources, runs a wide range of professional development events, administers a national D&T training and accreditation scheme and manages curriculum projects with restricted funding from charitable foundations, industry and Government sources.

The Chief Executive provides leadership and management of the Design and Technology Association and is responsible to the Trustees for the overall performance of the Association, leading the formulation of strategy and managing the organisation in accordance with the agreed business plan. The Chief Executive also sets the pace, culture and energy for the Association, inspiring members, partners and staff and building strong relationships with key sponsors, supporters and policy makers.

You should have significant experience of organisational leadership as well as excellent stakeholder management and strong collaboration, communication and relationship management skills. You will be an experienced influencer of Government, have knowledge of design and technology education and have demonstrable success increasing income and profile.
