An opportunity to join a forward-thinking local authority as a Project Coordinator. 

Wellingborough is an attractive market town in North Northamptonshire, full of historical character and surrounded by beautiful countryside. 

Position: Project Co-ordinator 
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire 
Contract type: Temporary - 12 month contract 
Hours: Full-time 
Salary: £20,456 (with the potential to earn up to £24,717)

About the role: 
Our client is working on a number of projects which will be at the heart of helping the authority realise its ambition of ‘Making Wellingborough a place to be proud of’ and are looking for a Project Co-ordinator . This role is based within the Planning and Local Development section and will involve working across all the services. 

The role will involve project managing small projects, producing and monitoring project documentation and working closely with other Project Co-ordinators to ensure a consistent approach. 

About you: 

It is important that you possess GCSE’s and A level’s, or have equivalent relevant experience of working within local authorities or with similar projects. You will have good IT knowledge and experience of managing projects, writing and presenting reports, monitoring budgets, developing communication strategies and conducting regular consultation. 

You will be committed to providing a quality service, with a flexible work attitude and have the ability to work as part of a team or without close supervision. 

You may have experience of the following: Project Co-ordinator, Planning Policy Officer, Planning Officer, Project Coordinator, Council Assistant, Local Authority, Team Support etc.
