This organisation is a small international development charity with a wide reaching mission.


Description

Key Responsibilities:

* Working across both acquisition and retention to develop an integrated direct marketing strategy
* Working across a range of channels but sticking mainly within traditional streams, with some integrated digital communications
* Utilising data analysis to shape the strategy of the direct marketing programme
* Managing the legacy giving strategy including stewardship of existing donors as well as developing a strategy to engage potential prospects
* Develop existing community fundraising programme and identify new growth areas
* Work across the fundraising department to ensure that all communications are on brand and that a supporter journey is followed through
* Collaborative approach to working with colleagues in Major Donor fundraising to ensure that prospects are not being missed out on
* Keep abreast of direct marketing best practise within the sector
* Management of relationships with external agencies
* Line management of 1


Profile

Person Specification:

* Experience of working within an individual giving department for a not for profit
* Experience of utilising a wide range of direct marketing channels to deliver campaigns
* Excellent data analysis skills to inform strategic direction of the department
* Experience of managing relationships with external suppliers
* Excellent copy writing skills
* Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
* Highly numerate with knowledge of budget management


Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £34,000 and £37,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
