Young Epilepsy is the leading national charity, which exists to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and associated conditions. With over 100 years of experience, our unique Headquarters offers world-class services which include the provision of Residential Services, Education and Health Care to children and young people in the UK and nationally.
Based within the Fundraising and External Relations department, you will be responsible for maximising on Individual Giving, which includes Appeals, In Memoriam giving, Committed Giving, our online shop and Legacies.
You will develop, administer and promote our Individual Giving programme, working towards annual targets. You will work with the Senior Community Fundraising Manager to prepare cost benefit analysis for individual giving, seeking to convert community fundraisers to regular givers, and take responsibility for the recruitment and retention of donors through the sending out of communications, including reactivating lapsed donors.
With proven experience in Individual Giving fundraising, you will have a successful track record of raising income from individuals whilst achieving targets, and of working with a fundraising database. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be combined with the ability to calculate and evaluate a sound return on investments, and a self-motivated and proactive approach.
