Fundraising Officer – Individuals, Community and Events
Prospectus is proud to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of 999 Club, a fantastic London-based homeless charity, who are looking for a talented Individuals, Community and Events Officer to join their team on a part time basis for three days per week. The 999 club, who offer a range of services to the homeless including health & wellbeing, advice, shelter and learning, are going through an exciting period of change, prompting a radical rethink of its approach, including a new fundraising strategy, crucial to which is the Individuals, Community and Events Officer role; a newly created post to extend the 999 Club's fundraising operations into new areas of opportunity.
In this new and exciting role, the Individuals, Community and Events Officer will focus on developing these three key areas of fundraising. With individual donors, you will develop the donor journey, maintain retention of existing donors, increase the donor pool and the level of giving, and provide content for supporters in the form of newsletters, social media and the website. In the community, you will research potential community supporters such as local businesses, schools, faith organisations and clubs, and devise ways to approach them, support existing and recruit new volunteers, and attend and/or represent the charity at community events. With events, you will recruit and support participants in challenge events, and identify opportunities for fundraising through other, new challenge events.
The successful Individuals, Community and Events Officer candidate will have experience of charity fundraising in these areas, and of working to targets, developing a supporter base.
