Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) is the UK’s largest disability charity directly supporting over 7,000 disabled people in the UK. We also support many more worldwide through our global alliance, working in 54 countries.
We have an exciting new opportunity to lead the financial teams in our Shared Services Centre ensuring we deliver an efficient, customer-focussed financial service across the organisation.
You will manage our finance transactions, accounting and credit control functions, implement strong financial controls and be highly visible within the charity across our stakeholders and internal teams. This role will also lead on a change agenda to deliver significant process efficiency across our financial procedures while driving a continuous improvement culture.
If you are a qualified member of a Chartered Accounting Body, eg. ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAS, have extensive similar experience in a high volume finance shared services environment and can demonstrate a track record of effective and timely process improvement, you will also be motivated by this opportunity to make a difference through your genuine commitment to our values and ethos.
