The charity is undergoing some really exciting developments making this a terrific time to get on board. Working alongside the Grants Manager the post holder will play a key role within the team, working to generate income by researching, designing, writing and submitting detailed applications and tenders for capital and revenue funds to ensure crucial support for much needed services. The charity provides a range of family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK.
You will be a confident and effective bid writer, with a strong track record in producing successful, high quality applications and tenders and the ability to identify and build strong relationships with Local Authorities, Commissioners, Private Trusts, Foundations, Corporate Partners and other Key Stakeholders. The ability to communicate compelling messages in written form, along with excellent interpersonal skills to influence and engage with individuals at all levels is essential. This is an exciting and varied role involving work with statutory bids and tenders, as well as applications to a variety of charitable trusts and foundations.
