Prospectus is delighted to work with The Society of Occupational Medicine to recruit a Membership Administrator on a part-time basis.
Our members are health professionals who help people stay in work and live full and healthy lives. They help employers by reducing sickness absence. We produce Occupational Medicine, a leading OUP published journal that communicates best practice evidence in workplace health, amongst other member benefits. We are interested in work and how it contributes to better health and wish to ensure our members understand best practice and we highlight innovative approaches that seek to enable people to stay at work through the life course.
We require a highly organised membership administrator to assist in progression membership acquisition and retention. On a day to day basis the post holder will be responsible for managing all membership enquiries, processing payments, creating bulk e-mails as well as sending updates. You will also have the opportunity to develop the membership packs including welcome packs and membership certificates. In addition you will be responsible for launching new membership schemes for students.
The right candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a proven track record of working within a membership team. The role requires someone with excellent IT skills with the ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills to join a really important membership organisation.
