A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE - As Chief Executive, you will lead our dedicated team and help make a positive impact on the quality of life for people who experience barriers to social inclusion.
Established in 2004 and with an annual income of £0.5m, Leicestershire Cares is an independent charity working with businesses across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. With a network of volunteers who give precious time to supporting their local community, our work focuses on education, community development, care leavers, homelessness and ex-offenders.
Through strong leadership and a passion for the work of Leicestershire Cares, you will attract and secure funding from a range of sources including membership organisations and charitable foundations. The management of these and other key stakeholder relationships is critical to the sustainability of the wide range of client services provided and to the success of this role.
Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will need to deliver the agreed vision, strategy and business plan and continue to build on the Leicestershire Cares brand and reputation.
As an experienced leader with a credible corporate or third sector background, you will have a proven track record of identifying and acquiring sources of income and of fostering a team culture of high engagement and mutual support.
With demonstrable success in business development and relationship management, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and influence change. Most of all, you will have real energy, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a flexible and creative approach to problem solving.
