Demelza is expanding its fundraising and creating a dedicated London based team. We are looking for innovative, motivated people to join this team.
Demelza Hospice Care for Children is a charity providing hospice services for children and young people with Life-limiting conditions and support for their families across Kent, East Sussex and South East London.
We offer specialist care in our two residential hospices based in Kent and South East London and in the family home through our dedicated Community team working in East Sussex and South West Kent.
As member of the new London Team and the Community Fundraising Team, developing Community Fundraising within a designated region, you will have experience of fundraising or sales, including supporting individuals and groups. You will have a proven successful track record of generating and raising income from a variety of community fundraising sectors. You will have the ability to develop and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences. Good IT skills are essential for this role. You will be an enthusiastic, highly skilled communicator who can build valuable relationships with key members of the community.
Based from the S.E London hospice with regular meetings at Demelza sites and other locations this role will include extensive travel throughout the Demelza region for which a vehicle will be available. This is a full time role which will involve unsociable evening and weekend working.
