At Bron Afon we’re extremely proud of our achievements and have had much to celebrate recently… it’s thanks to our staff that we are where we are today.
We’ve always strived to make delivering first-class services for tenants and residents a priority. In the 4 and a half years since Bron Afon was created, we’ve really recognised that we need to give our people the best opportunities to develop new skills – and this has had a huge impact on our success.
It’s an exciting time as we move into a new phase of our development, and with a new CorporatePlan we have ambitions to drive the business forward
Our vision is that Bron Afon remains a sustainable business which continues to meet our existing commitments by providing excellent housing, support and advice to those who really need it, maximizing the use of our assets for the benefit of communities in Torfaen.
There will be challenges on the road ahead - we need our people to be driven to be the best at what we do.
If this sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you…
Can you get the best out of people who don’t report directly to you? Are you an experienced administrator with good IT and organisational skills? Do you enjoy working as part of a team, and are keen to help in the development of policies and business processes to enable our Board, Directors and Senior Officers to provide an excellent service to Bron Afon’s tenants and residents? If so, this post may be for you...
This role will report to the Corporate Services Manager and will be providing a first class PA service to our Chief Executive, providing advice and support to make sure that things run smoothly! Your finely-tuned organisational skills will be essential for arranging meetings and taking minutes, as well as taking on key projects. You’ll also lead the team of PAs in providing a consistently excellent service, making sure that standards are maintained across the business and coordinated cover is provided during periods of absence.
You’ll assist our Chief Executive in diary management and servicing and arranging meetings. You will be able to build relationships and, as a skilled communicator who can relate and engage with people at all levels, you will use your skills to influence and challenge, as you will be dealing with people internally and externally.
You will be someone who enjoys being part of a fast, dynamic changing environment, where everyday offers a different challenge.
Closing date: Monday, 1st October 2012.
