You will be responsible for creating compelling written funding applications for a large portfolio of charitable trusts as well as supporting the development of major funding bids to Government funds and The Big Lottery Fund. This role will also be responsible for helping to implement our new fundraising strategy to identify and build relations with high net worth individuals – through research, solicitation and on going donor stewardship.
This role will work in close collaboration with our support service teams to help develop projects and services at both local and national levels. As well as planning and delivering exemplary donor care, you will be responsible for producing detailed grant reports for major funders including creating updates about complex medical research projects. The successful candidate will have excellent bid writing skills, a thorough understanding of the trust fundraising processes and a demonstrable track record of securing significant grants from a range of funders and individuals. You will also have experience in planning and delivering major donor events as well as stewardship of high net worth individuals.
