Head of Fundraising (Strategy & Performance).

A leading children's charity is looking for a Head of Fundraising (Strategy & Performance) on a maternity cover contract. You would strategically lead a newly formed division which provides a holistic overview of all fundraising activities and assists all fundraising divisions to proactively manage business performance and long and short term business planning.

Responsibilities include:
Lead the department whose goal is to provide knowledge and support for multi-audience activities with a view to improving their fundraising efforts
Develop strategies which maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation's fundraising
Providing assistance to and working closely with relevant line managers to ensure they have the relevant tools to enhance and deliver the supporter journey
Ensuring that best practise in fundraising is adhered to across all relevant divisions
Day to day management of the fundraising strategy and performance department
Working with other leaders through the SMT

Experience required:
Proven track record of strategically leading and delivering results across a range of activities and developing new income streams
Strong management and leadership experience
Budget management and financial planning with experience of handling multi-million pound expenditure and income targets
Fantastic communication and relationship building skills
Ability to plan, monitor and implement major projects with strong change management experience
Experience of delivering a fundraising strategy for major charities
