Floating Support Workers
Salary: £11.50 per hour (£12.89 per hour inc. holiday pay)
Location: Various locations in London
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota inc. some evenings and weekends
Temporary positions, up to 3 months
Our client is a charity which provides innovative accommodation and support services to some of London’s most vulnerable people. They are currently seeking Floating Support Workers to cover various temporary contracts, providing a dynamic and empowering service to vulnerable clients across a variety of tenures in London.
Responsible for drafting comprehensive needs and risk assessments, as well as coordinating support interventions, you will ensure that clients are actively involved and that the support offered is full and holistic. With the aim of preventing tenancy breakdown, improving the quality of life and promoting independence of clients are also crucial elements of this role.
Previous experience of supporting vulnerable client groups is essential, including homeless, ex-offenders and those with mental health or substance misuse issues. With a proven ability to manage a large caseload of clients, successful candidates will be able to devise and deliver on action plans through high quality risk management and needs assessment.
