Our client is a leading university located in central London and they are looking to recruit a reliable and organised individual with excellent attention to detail to support the day-to-day operation of the Fees Office and for the provision of an excellent customer service to their students.
Working in their International Programmes department, you will work as part of a team of Fees Officers to calculate, record, process and manage the safe retention of over 60,000 student fees annually. You will be working with people across the organisation and need to comfortable and enjoy being in a frontline post, answering queries from students.
Friendly, helpful and sympathetic, you will be flexible in your approach and eager to provide assistance wherever required to ensure the maximum efficiency of the Fees Office. You will be comfortable dealing with changing priorities and be effective at multi-tasking to manage a substantial workload to deadlines. Experience of credit control is highly desirable.
You will have demonstrable ability to undertake work in a process-driven environment and to handle cash, cheque and credit card payments. Good IT skills including experience of working with databases and knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel are required and some knowledge of working with S.A.M accounting package is desirable.
Two posts are being recruited for – one a 6 month fixed term contract and a 1 year fixed term contract.
