Leading Health Charity seek a Senior Major Gifts Manager to drive forward a strategy for generating major gifts from across the charity’s community fundraising networks, maximising involvement and support from regional colleagues and the county Patron’s in the major gift process. The post will also manage the development of a mid-value strategy to significantly increase the funds received in the £250-£5K gift band from individuals and trusts.  

This role is flexible on location and you can be based anywhere in the UK.

The role will have responsibility for the development of a mid-value strategy to increase the funds received from 250- 5K gift banding from individuals and trusts.

Experience required:

 

Significant experience of fundraising including major donor fundraising.

 

A track record of having asked for, negotiated and secured gifts of £50K+.

 

Proven experience of recruiting and successfully managing major gift fundraisers (or equivalent).

 

Experience of setting, achieving and monitoring targets and performance.

Experience of developing excellent working relationships with internal and external senior people

Line management of staff

Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a MD team
- Securing gifts, building on relationships with donors and developing existing relationships with current supporters
- Deliver strategic plans
