Regional Fundraising Manager – Public Appeal

Our client is a leading national charity providing compassionate care services to people with long-term and end of life needs.
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead on the development and implementation of all public facing elements of a £6m capital appeal. You will develop strategy and plans that bring together the aims and approach of the regional fundraising team, as a whole, with the aims of the public appeal. This includes promoting the strategic use and development of volunteers to increase capacity of the area team and ensure networks are capable of covering the entire geographical area; and the development of a strong, experienced team ensuring ongoing coaching and development of staff, recognising strong performance, and addressing weaknesses to ensure all targets are delivered.
With a proven track record in the strategic development, planning and implementation of a public appeal, you will be able to demonstrate wide and varied charity fundraising management, income generation experience, and success in sales and marketing techniques. Project and budget management are essential requirements, as is exemplary people management and leadership ability including experience of managing geographically dispersed teams.

This role will cover Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Leicestershire, Rutland, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derby. This role will therefore require travel. A company car is included.
