As part of our planned development we are seeking to appoint an experienced community fundraiser with good PR and communications skills to the post of Community Fundraising Manager.
This is a great development role. The Charity supports 4,000 people and works with 200 organisations each year to create opportunities that change peoples lives. Turnover is over half a million and income in 2012 from Community Fundraising is £180,000.
You will want to increase that substantially. You will have good experience and a proven track record of community fundraising; you are also a great networker and communicator and know how to exploit the potential of modern networks and social media as well as local papers/radio etc. You are confident and personable with the drive and determination to support the Charity in developing its profile and gaining new contacts and supporters, including both community and corporate opportunities. You have good contacts in Herts and Beds and know how to use your existing networks and build new ones. You are organised and resourceful and are great at encouraging people to get involved and support your challenge and other events throughout the year.
You like targets and enjoy exceeding them to show what you can do. You can manage really well but you are very hands-on too. You are ambitious and looking for opportunities to develop your own career. You are also a team player and know how to take people with you. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, Catherine Farrell, you will have an important role in further increasing our income streams and pump priming further development.
If you are up for the challenge, please e-mail your application form to admin@reachoutplus.org (download from the top of this page or our website http://www.reachoutplus.org/) or send your CV and a covering letter in the first instance to us via the 'Apply now' button by 5pm 16th August.
Interviews 21st August.
