Administration & Events Assistant – Scotland and N.Ireland
We’re looking for an organised, friendly and efficient individual to work as part of a small and highly motivated team dedicated to developing and delivering income generation, profile-raising and supporter engagement strategies across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Working across a wide range of audiences and with the support of a range of London-based colleagues, this small, Glasgow-based team will help WaterAid achieve its full potential in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The Administration and Events Assistant provides administrative support to WaterAid Scotland and Northern Ireland office, responsible for day-to-day working of the office, systems, database and resources and acting as first point of contact for external enquiries. The postholder will also coordinate the implementation of all annually organised events.
The post holder will bring with them a genuine enthusiasm for the work of WaterAid and be able to communicate that to supporters, volunteers and colleagues. They will be comfortable working as part of a small team, able to work with minimal supervision and get involved in all aspects of the team’s work, as well as being available for evening and weekend work when required and also for occasional UK travel.
