Our client, The Jubilee Sailing Trust, is a registered charity whose mission is to promote the integration of people of all physical abilities through the challenge and adventure of sailing Tall Ships on the open sea.
They have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to take accountability for the achievement of their annual sales and fundraising income targets. You will have responsibility for team building, overseeing and coordinating all sales, marketing and fundraising activities and developing communication and sponsorship strategies in order to raise the profile of the charity so that it becomes internationally significant.
You will also be reviewing all income streams, redrafting marketing and communication strategies, managing and developing relationships with High Net Worth Individuals and seeking out and developing new corporate relationships.
Interested candidates will need to have significant commercial experience and a well developed understanding of fundraising income streams. You will need to be able to understand performance reporting and be able to develop and implement strategies that will grow the Trusts’ profile year on year. As a person you will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership capabilities and excellent numeracy and analytical skills. You must also be willing to travel internationally on occasions.
