Team Manager
Salary : £29,070 - £30,600 per annum pro rata
Location: Croydon
Full time - nine month fixed term contract
Hours: 9am - 5pm with some flexibility required for on-call rota
Our client is a charity which aims to improve the lives of socially excluded homeless young people. They provide a range of accommodation based services, including specialist hostels for young people leaving care, women and children fleeing from domestic violence, those with mental health issues and who are recovering from alcohol and drug abuse.
They are currently recruiting for a Team Manager to oversee the delivery of the service to twenty seven clients over three buildings. Resonsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the project, you will be provding leadership to the staff team, as well as ensuring income is maximised through minimising voids and bad depts and maintaining KPI information.
Proven experience of working in supported housing withi single homeless people is essential, as well as minimising rent arrears and voids, operating rent accounting systems and engaging with referral agencies. An awareness of the needs of those with mental health issues is crucial. The appointed candidate will have management experience or demonstrate willingness and capability to develop management skills.
