This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and growing Development team at the University of Manchester. You will play a key role in implementing a new strategy to significantly increase the level of philanthropic income for the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences.
You will be responsible for providing advice, consultancy and active input to private donor programmes in the Faculty. Leading and co-ordinating the development of gift proposals for donors to the Faculty, you will also be a key relationship manager at University wide level with private individual donors, charitable trusts and foundations in order to support both Faculty and University philanthropic priorities.
You will have a strong track record of successful fundraising with private donors and proven experience of managing effective customer or client relationships. You will be a pro-active team player with the commitment to work individually when required. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work under pressure will also be essential prerequisites for this role.
