Further information

Today 2,000 children around the world will die simply because they have nowhere safe to go to the toilet and because they have no choice but to drink filthy, dirty water. Tomorrow will be the same, and the day after and the day after that. In fact, 2,000 children will die every day until we create a world where everyone has access to clean water and basic, safe toilets.
And today you can choose to do something about it.
We’re looking for a talented Event Fundraising Manager, someone who has a track record of delivering highly successful event fundraising, with an eye on both the marketing and logistical delivery. Someone who thinks strategically about growth and has a proven track record of working with people to deliver it. Someone passionate about the role events play in building loyalty, engagement and passion for a cause.

If that’s you, you can choose to apply for our Event Fundraising Manager post and in doing so, make a big contribution to changing the lives of millions of people.
This role will be responsible for managing a small team delivering a mix of third party and WaterAid own events. You’ll need good management skills and experience enabling you to lead and influence others to deliver an effective and scaleable programme of activities. Equally, you’ll have a vision for how to grow event activities; create exceptional supporter experiences and lots of ambition. You’ll need to provide evidence of your ability to build strong internal and external relationships and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to deliver team and organisational objectives.

Closing date: 12.00hrs on 20 July 2012
First Interviews: 25/26 July 2012
Second Interviews: 31 July 2012
