Senior Press Officer – Fundraising

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity needs to raise £50 million every year to help rebuild and refurbish Great Ormond Street Hospital, buy vital equipment and fund pioneering research.

You will be responsible for the delivery of effective PR strategies in support of these fundraising efforts, particularly with corporate partners.

You will work hard to maximise all opportunities to promote the work of the charity’s fundraising activities, and will maintain and build on existing media relationships with national, regional, local and specialist media. Additionally, you will be responsible for the line management of one fundraising press officer.

Applicants should have substantial experience of an in-house or agency PR role, ideally in the fundraising or health sectors. Experience of managing high profile PR partnerships is also desirable.
