Finance Business Support Manager - Leading University - Up to £49,000 per annum
A leading University is seeking to appoint a Finance Business Support Manager to provide outstanding business decision support, planning and financial analysis to one of it's major faculties. Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager in Finance and working closely with the Heads of Faculties, Directors and their teams, the post holder will manage a portfolio of £35-£40m in a customer focused role as well as providing support in the development of reporting and financial analysis across the board.
The Finance Business Support Manager will provide a full financial business support and management accounting service for the faculties and support departments in their portfolio, develop analysis of financial and non-financial information, provide advice on performance and make recommendations for action, and continously lead improvements in reporting, systems, etc. You will be a senior member of the Financial Planning team.
The successful candidate will:
- be a qualified accountant, ideally with some post-qualified experience.
- have strong commercial finance and business partnering skills, as well as being technically sound
- be highly commercial in outlook with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
