Community Fundraising Manager

We are currently recruiting for a children's charity. You will be responsible for managing the Community Fundraising team.

MAIN DUTIES:
Implement, review and revise the Community Fundraising Strategy
Develop and manage communication plans and work with the Marketing & Corporate Communication team to ensure fundraising messages a re communicated effectively
Work with colleagues to ensure that fundraising is acknowledged as an integral part of service delivery
Work with the Head of Volunteering to recruit and support Regional Fundraising Advisors
Set project income targets for community fundraising activity and monitor progress to ensure an annual return in excess of the specified target
Line manage and provide appropriate support to the Community Fundraising Officers


ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
At least three years experience of events fundraising and one of either community grants or commercial fundraising
Demonstrable experience of recruiting, working with and managing volunteers
Creative and proficient project manager with the skills and ability to manage internal and external partners to deliver work on time and on budget

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Line management experience
