Senior Business Development Executive

This leading social welfare charity is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to secure income generating partnerships within the corporate sector inline with the organisations corporate fundraising strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive fundraising looking to develop there career in business development and deliver exciting and innovative partnerships.

The main duties of the post holder will include;

- Secure income generating and where possible multi-year partnerships
- Identify medium to large corporate partnerships developing beneficial relationships
- Attend events and network with key decision makers and influential parties
- Prepare and deliver creative propositions to a wide range of audiences through written proposals, presentations and in face-to-face meetings
- Play a lead role in the development of strategic new business partnerships and projects across the business development fundraising portfolio
- Encourage cross departmental working to ensure all opportunities are maximised

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

- Experience of achieving new business or income targets within a fundraising role
- Confident public speaker with experience preparing and delivering presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor and meet the needs of the audience
- Demonstrable ability to build excellent working relationships at all levels
- IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office and fundraising databases
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to time manage and prioritise work load
