We are seeking a community fundraiser to assist the Senior Community Fundraiser to carry out the fundraising plan to ensure growth of sustainable net income from a variety of fundraising streams.
The key tasks of the role include:
- Raising funds in line with local fundraising plan
- Managing specific fundraising projects and supporting legacy fundraising
- Maximising sustainable net income
- Recruitment of new fundraising participants and supporters
Key attributes of the Community Fundraiser include:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Experience in customer care/public relations/other role
involving significant communications skills
- Understanding of working with volunteers
- Excellent organisational skills
- Community fundraising experience would be an advantage
