ARK Schools is an education charity established to create a network of outstanding inner-city academies that radically improve the life chances of their pupils. With eleven academies currently open, and seven more opening in September 2012, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Finance to help lead the network as we continue to expand and ensure sound financial oversight of our £115m turnover.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented finance professional who is looking for a new challenge and would like to play a leading role in a top performing academy group.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, qualified accountant with the ability to see the bigger picture and take a long-term strategic view while also being prepared to roll their sleeves up and get into the detail when necessary. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills and the drive and determination to do whatever it takes to get things done to a high standard.
