They demonstrate and promote a youth-led approach to development, implementing internationally recognised and award winning programmes across sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia as well as leading international youth-led programmes in the UK, USA and Australia. They have doubled in size over the past three years and are on course to continue both expansion and development of quality in line with their Global Strategic Framework.
They are currently recruiting for a new Country Director for their Sierra Leone office to continue the strong leadership of their team and ensure the consistent and high quality delivery of their programmes. In Sierra Leone they work in every chiefdom, enabling young people nationwide to lead the development of their country through their programmes. With proven senior management experience to drive forward their strategy in Sierra Leone, you will act as an ambassador for their work, representing the organisation at the highest national levels. With responsibility for ensuring the consistent high standards in the delivery of all programmes, operations and finances, ideally you will in particular have strong experience of finance and operations, as well as a strong track record of developing strategic alliances. With outstanding communications skills you will be working collaboratively with you management team, staff and the international team to lead the organisation’s direction and growth.
