Our client a private housing membership organisation is seeking an experienced Advice Line Manager who will be based at the organisations London office. The post holder’s main responsibility will be to manage a team of Advice Line operators (operating from London and Brighton) and develop other advice services. The Advice Line team provide an important telephone support line to the organisations membership, receiving over 800 calls per week regarding housing legislation and letting matters.
The successful applicant must have:
- a thorough understanding of the private rented housing sector and housing law
- significant experience as a landlord
- previous management and customer service skills
- sound knowledge of IT
- excellent communication and administrative skills, and the ability to lead and organise a small team with a flexible approach
- excellent time management and organisational skills
