Patient Information Manager

We are currently recruiting for a health charity who have a short term contract for Patient Information Manager. You will play a key role in developing and delivering on the charity's objective to deliver a quantifiable increase in patient benefit.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 2 to 3 months

IDEAL START DATE: ASAP

MAIN DUTIES:
Manage the development and delivery of the patient information service
Ensure the publications schedule is maintained effectively and deadlines are met
Oversee the development and management of the patient reviewer group
Ensure patient information adheres to the charity's editorial processes
Work with relevant colleagues across the organisation, oversee the development of the digital patient information offering
Manage and develop their work with patient supporter groups
Develop relevant promotional items for use at events and hospitals

ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
Experience of managing the development and delivery of health information (preferably patient information rather than public health information)
Experience of managing the development and delivery of health content for multi channel delivery: digital (web and mobile platforms) and booklet form
Experience of developing and adhering to editorial processes
An understanding of the NHS patient information agenda
Experience of managing and developing a team
