Fundraising Research Specialist

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is more than a name. It’s a force. A force of thousands of people across the UK working together with a single-minded ambition to stop women dying from breast cancer. In short, we are determined to create a future free from the fear of breast cancer. Through our work, more women survive breast cancer than they did 10 years ago. We believe that, if our life saving work can continue, then in another 10 years’ time some types of breast cancer will no longer be life threatening.

Breakthrough is currently developing options and plans for making the greatest difference we can for everyone affected by breast cancer in the future. Almost all of Breakthrough’s income is from voluntary sources and so fundraising research will be pivotal in helping to grow the income which will underpin these exciting developments.

This is a new role sitting within the Major Giving team, which secures income from high net worth individuals, charitable trusts and other grant makers, and manages key supporter relationships of significant financial value to Breakthrough. The role will also work closely with the Corporate Partnerships and Supporter Data teams. Your expertise will add value to the fundraising department by ensuring all high value donors are fulfilling their potential in supporting Breakthrough.
