Job title: Interim Fundraising Manager
Salary: £35k to £40k depending on experience
Location: HMS Excellent, Whale Island, Portsmouth
A new opportunity has arisen within The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity for an experienced Interim Manager with a strong background in fundraising and the ability to lead and support a small but highly motivated team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and professional individual with a broad depth of fundraising experience to step in to assess where and how the charity should be placing themselves in order to achieve results in the short and long term, putting in place a firm foundation from which the Charity can develop. You will also be responsible for analysing current policies and procedures and ensuring steps are taken to filling any gaps that may appear so that, ultimately, the fundraising team are operating efficiently, legally and to their maximum potential.
Finally, you will be there as a guide and mentor to the team, providing expert knowledge across a range of funding streams and making sure income opportunities are maximised and the charity is represented to its’ full potential.
Interested candidates must have demonstrable experience of working across a board range of funding streams and be able to step in and add value without the need for excessive guidance and support. Ideally you will also have a professional fundraising qualification and strong team management experience.
