As a Senior Developer, you’ll lead on managing the design, development, implementation and support of new and existing systems within the IT Development team. You'll work with your team, mentoring and developing junior members where necessary to frame solutions which not only meet the BHF's business needs and wider charitable objectives but are appropriate in terms of function, cost and timescale.
You’ll also be responsible for project managing web developments, estimating development timescales and defining and documenting our systems architecture. Finally, you’ll help us ensure that an appropriate set of web development standards and procedures are in place and promote the effective use of technology.
You'll use and apply the latest technical architectures with Microsoft technologies and be experienced leading in tech architecture, technical design and technical documentation of systems.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate experience in the development of SharePoint .Net and SQL as well as an understanding of complex business requirements teamed with the drive and enthusiasm to continuously seek to improve services to meet customer needs . You should also have strong team leadership skills and the ability to mentor others. A software engineering qualification or degree in computing is also desirable.
