Further information

Children Our Ultimate Investment (UK) runs a range of innovative programmes, which inspire disadvantaged young people to achieve the skills, qualifications and self belief to succeed in education, work and life. Our flagship programme, Teens and Toddlers, builds the self esteem of young people by trusting them to mentor a disadvantaged toddler in a nursery and building on this positive experience to build their interpersonal skills.

The Charity has developed significantly over the past seven years with the help of major partners such as Esmee Fairbairn, J Paul Getty, JP Morgan Chase Foundation, ARK and the Monument Trust.  We have increased our fundraised income by 40% in the last year and have a new fundraising strategy to raise £2.4m over the next three years.

The Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager will work alongside the Director of Fundraising and Chief Executive to ensure the success of the new fundraising strategy, which will broaden our fundraising streams and ensure sustainability.  You will take responsibility for building Trust and statutory income from larger donors (<£20K) to meet a personal annual target of £300K. You will also nurture existing and potential donors to ensure that they continue to support the charity. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role to strengthen the fundraising successes the charity has achieved and to contribute to our ambitious expansion plans. The fundraising team is also supported by a Fundraising Executive and, part-time, by the Chief Executive’s PA.

You will have a previous track record of success in Trust fundraising, and ideally also have statutory experience. You will have strong written and verbal communications skills and show demonstrable ability to build relationships with key donors. The post also requires excellent project management skills, an ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and a strong attention to detail.

To apply for this exciting new role, send your cv and a covering letter to ebennett@teensandtoddlers.org.uk. 92-94 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2TH, 020 7089 6180.
