Youth charity The Prince's Trust helps change young lives. We give disadvantaged young people opportunities to develop their confidence, skills and job chances. We aim to help young people who would not otherwise have the opportunity to succeed - particularly focusing on those who are unemployed, have struggled at school, those in or leaving care and those who have been in trouble with the law.
The PR Officer role will be responsible for developing and delivering media relations for key commercial activities and programmes across several areas of the UK. You will also work with the national communications team to maximise regional coverage for nationally syndicated campaigns.
You will have experience of proactive media relations, event PR, feature placement and issues-based campaigns. Excellent writing skills are essential. You will also have an in-depth knowledge of the media and their needs and an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
