In this increasingly popular fundraising area, our client a health charity is looking to grow significantly over the next three years. Ideally, candidates will demonstrate excellent project management skills, ideally in a direct marketing environment, they will also have a good knowledge of producing raffle or lottery mailings or relevant associated gaming activity– either in-house or with a specialist agency. Further, they will have an excellent knowledge and interest in both telemarketing and digital marketing techniques to help us grow these successful channels. Candidates will also be well versed in existing lottery legislation and the discussions currently being held.
The ability to manage staff directly responsible to themselves but also those indirectly – both at the same level , as well as higher and lower level staff – is a must, as well as the ability to manage relationships across a variety of differing internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct growth targets and will have excellent numeracy and budget setting skills. Lastly, they will be excited by innovation and be innovators themselves, be able to grasp difficult concepts and communicate these to others and motivated by intricate project management.”
