A well established charity are seeking an experienced Supporter Database Manager to manage the data of supporters and looking at new initiatives to increases donations.
The successful candidate will be required to provide analysis, segmentation and selections.
Main duties of the role:
Identify and evaluate new ways of interpreting supporter data and recommend ways to maximise supporter value and ways to improve their response.
Effectively manage people, priorities and processes. Make improvements through working with Fundraising, Comms and Activism teams.
Develop the supporter data strategy and implementation plans in order to support organisational strategy.
Initiate processes that support and improve the quality of the supporter contact data.
Deliver project objectives that could include cross departmental and external project teams.
Ensure that project planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting comply with management guidelines
Essential requirements needed for the role:
Must have experience of managing fundraising databases
Proven knowledge of data and database management, ideally within a charity organisation
Strategic and innovative approach to data management.
Ability to coordinate several campaigns involving different departments.
Proven ability to apply segmentation to supporter journeys.
Good understanding of SQL.
Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to use statistics, manipulate, analyse, interpret and present data.
Experience data analysis in a direct marketing environment.
Experience with using supporter databases.
Ability to supervise others.
