Barking & Dagenham CVS is the primary provider of advice and information to charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises in Barking & Dagenham. The CVS also manages the Ripple Centre, a vibrant community hub providing flexible facilities and a dynamic space to suit all occasions and all budgets.
The Development Team plays a vital role in supporting organisations to develop their organisational skills enabling them to provide the valuable services that so many people in our communities rely upon.
We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated lateral thinker to support local voluntary and community organisations to develop into effective, robust and sustainable organisations.
The opportunity would suit someone who is:
• Knowledgeable and passionate about the voluntary and community sector
• An excellent and effective communicator
• Experienced in supporting organisations to improve their organisational management skills.
