Community & Events Fundraising Officer

Specialist UK health charity is looking for a Part-time Community & Events Fundraising Officer to join their team in Northwest London.

This is an opportunity for an individual with community and events fundraising experience and an incredible personality to represent this forward thinking charity in the region.

The main focus of this role will be to manage a portfolio of events, recruit volunteers in the region and use your networking and influencing skills to bring local groups, individuals and companies together to fundraise for this cause. This role is an opportunity to use your personality and tenacity to build on a foundation of community and events experience at an organisation with a fantastic cause to get behind.

Essential experience:
- Managing a community and events programme
- Making presentations to community groups
- Working with schools and youth organisations
- Recruiting and managing volunteers and fundraising groups

Location: Stanmore (about 40 min from King's Cross St. Pancras and Waterloo station)
Salary: £24,500 - £31, 000
Contract: 21 hours/ week
Deadline: Thursday 24 May 2012
