Alzheimer’s Society is the leading care and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. Dementia affects over 800,000 people in the UK alone and numbers continue to grow.
As a New Partnerships Executive, working within the new partnerships team, you will play an essential role in securing new corporate partnerships for Alzheimer’s Society. Building on your previous experience in a charity and/or commercial setting, you will be focussed on securing new partnerships for the Society, including charity of the year, cause-related marketing and longer term strategic relationships.
The role will be varied – we are a small but effective team. The position will involve researching prospects, building mutually beneficial relationships, writing motivating and engaging proposals and delivering pitches, often at board level.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll be able to think creatively as well as analyse opportunities. You will be able to nurture and develop our existing relationships with companies, as well as seek out new prospects.
Reporting to the New Partnerships Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for you to build on your previous commercial and/or fundraising experience, and truly make your mark in this rapidly expanding national charity.
