An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Corporate Fundraiser to join our busy Business Development team.
You will help develop and grow corporate fundraising income targets and devise and implement creative profitable fundraising campaigns with businesses. You will contribute to the development of the Business Development strategy, developing effective and workable annual planning documents and when required, take the lead on specific national fundraising initiatives.
With a strong track record in liaising with senior stakeholders, you will be able to deliver across various income streams including Charity of the Year, strategic partnerships, cause related marketing and sponsorship.
You will have proven experience of successfully managing and expanding relationships worth £100k or more and of managing a varied portfolio. You will also have experience of cause related marketing and managing commercial income contracts.
With excellent presentation and written communication skills, you will be able to write compelling and innovative proposals and applications, with a proven ability to present new ideas to existing donors. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, including persuasion, networking and the ability to represent the organisation effectively to senior decision makers and high profile individuals.
We are looking for someone who is able to think laterally and creatively to secure funding with a high degree of diplomacy, tact and confidence. You will be a strategic thinker who is able to manage a large and complex workload, prioritising competing demands in a fast paced environment.
You also will possess a good understanding of the principles of corporate fundraising with a working knowledge of fundraising law. You will also have a good understanding of the principles Corporate Social Responsibility and how these apply to relationships with charities.
