Senior Development Manager
Based in London
Our client, a leading health organisation, is looking for a Senior Development Manager to devise and implement a community fundraising strategy to develop long term relationships with individuals fundraising in aid of the organisation.
By personally cultivating and managing relationships, the Senior Development Manager works across the organisation to ensure cross selling of fundraising opportunities and securing repeat and long term support from individuals. As the lead contact working on patient appeals, you will represent the charity at external events and meetings and produce regular reports on all activity, identifying risks and areas for development.
With demonstrable experience of community and volunteer fundraising, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of the best practice when developing and managing relationships with individuals to secure support. With a successful track record of assessing fundraising opportunities and maximising income from individuals, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a range of people. An empathy and passion for the cause of the charity is also essential in order to be successful in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow community fundraising for the organisation and, in turn, develop upon your own skills and experience in this area.
