A well established charity based in London are seeking an experienced Legacy Administrator to work on a fixed term maternity contact.
The successful candidate will support the Legacy manager acting as an assist, you will also be the first point of contact for the team dealing with legal professional and personal executors who are involved with the administration of wills.
You will have proven experience of working within a legacy team and will have the experience of taking the lead and managing caseloads within this field.
Main duties for the Legacy Administrator:
To manage and report on various caseloads
To take ownership and management of the legacy administration process- paying attention to areas that may need further investigation
Working closely with the manager of the team to look at new promotions/ campaigns for both internal and external focus
To be the first point/ main contact for queries for the legacy team
To build good relationships with internal and external parties that would come in to contact with the legacy team
To assist on an adhoc basis with trust applications
To provide monthly reports to the manager of the team looking at caseloads, income and accruals
To raise monthly invoices for the teams expenditure
To work closely with finance team ensuring that income is correctly logged
To deal with any complex issues that could come up to within the legacy team
To seek legal advise where required ensuring that correct policy is followed
To assist legacy manager to promote internal and external exposure with general marketing activity
Essential criteria for the Legacy Administrator:
Must have proven experience of working within a legacy department within an administration capacity
Must have experience of managing own case load within a legacy department
Must have experience knowledge of legal protocols within a charities legacy department
Must have excellent communications skills both written and verbally
Must have proven experience of building relationships with different business levels
Must have experience of managing complex issues and have a compassionate nature
