MAIN DUTIES:
Responsible for day-to-day liaison with external agencies to deliver fundraising activity
Responsible for coordinating the production of fundraising materials, from briefing to delivery
Responsible for working within the International fundraising budget set out at the beginning of each financial year
Responsible for accurate communication of factual information within the charity and to external agencies
Work integrally with the International Communications Team and Programmes to ensure all external messaging, branding and communications are accurate and operating within our guidelines
ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
A substantial and relevant Fundraising/Direct Marketing background
Experience of working on different fundraising channels. This may include Face to Face, Direct Mail, DRTV, telemarketing, press inserts, press adverts, online etc.
A good understanding of fundraising performance measures and the ability to interpret results
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent written and numerical accuracy with good attention to detail
Proven time and project management skills. The ability to work across multiple projects, meet deadlines, targets and work effectively under pressure
Strong computer skills, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own time plus the time of others e.g. suppliers or external agencies
An excellent team player with a positive, solution-focused approach
Excellent interpersonal skills
An interest in animal welfare
Desirable
Database management skills
Good command of an additional language
Experience and understanding of online marketing
Experience or understanding of INGOs/NGO's
Experience or understanding of Animal Welfare or an Animal Welfare organisation
