Join an established, successful major donor team of six with your own portfolio of live donors to steward and a healthy prospect list to approach.

This household name charity has one of the oldest major donor departments in the sector with an active pool of major donors and prospective major donors. Sitting within a team of six, including a researcher, this team is one of the oldest major donor departments in the sector with a history of success and some very well-known names on their live donor list.

The role encompass all parts of the major donor process, building up fantastic relationships with donors and making the ask if appropriate or managing the peer to peer process if a peer to peer ask is more likely to succeed.

The team have access to a select number of special events including a big ticket bi-annual gala with a history of success both in terms of on-the-night income and donor cultivation.

- Experience of working as a major donor fundraiser for a charity
- An excellent manner and be an exceptional communicator in person, in writing and over the 'phone
- An in depth understanding of donors, why they give and how to retain their interest in a charity
- A desire to build on your career in the fundraising sector.
