About the role:
A position has become available on a six month contract within the membership department for an experienced payments administrator. You will help manage membership payments including the set up of instructions for Direct Debits, the reconciliation process, late payment chasing and responding to and dealing with payment related membership enquiries. You will also take responsibility for ensuring the Society maintains accurate payment information particularly in relation to Direct Debit payments.
The Membership Payments Officer will play an integral role in maintaining member payment information and will work closely with colleagues within the finance department.
Experience of operating a paperless Direct Debit system including knowledge of BACs rules and processes including advance notices, BACs reports, data verification and submission would be beneficial.
