Further information

Save the Children is on a 10-year ambition to inspire dramatic change for children, and has a clear 3-year strategic plan designed to position us to achieve this.

To reach our ambition the Corporate Partnerships Department has taken a step-change in activity, targeting both existing and future donors to maximise their potential. The results have seen income growth of 120% and 65% in the last two years.

We have won multi million pound innovative partnerships with Unilever, Lloyds, Mothercare and many others. The scale and breadth of their support cuts across numerous objectives; fundraising, awareness raising, as well as campaigning and advocacy on global platforms, these partnerships will ensure Save the Children achieve lasting change for children.

This new approach is vital as companies seek mutually beneficial partnerships which meet the needs of their business.

We are now seeking a Senior Account Manager to deliver a key long term global partnership with Thomson Reuters. Managing a team of 2, the role works laterally across all parts of Save the Children ensuring maximum value is delivered to both parties. The partnership raises between £1m - £3m per year.   As the lead point of contact you’ll be given the opportunity to ensure the partnership strategy is fully implemented and opportunities maximised. This will be achieved through devising and implementing creative and innovative campaigns, engaging employees and customers, monitoring progress and evaluating benefit.

We see you bringing to this role experience within account management, brand, communications or marketing. You’ll need a commercial outlook either with exposure to corporate social responsibility (CSR) or cause related marketing (CRM), within fundraising or a corporate (agency or client side) environment.

In return we offer extensive career prospects in a team leading the sector, enabling you the opportunity to create lasting change for children.

As well as those already in the charity sector, we see this as a great opportunity for those within brand, communications or marketing with exposure to the charity sector seeking to refocus their career.
